"The power-bulge hood and big wheel and tire combo (up to 20 inches in diameter) give the 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV a substantial road presence," according to a Kelley Blue Book expert car review. Although intimidating in size and scope, the Tahoe remains quite conservative in design, with typical slab sides and not-too-boxy feel. The large split grille may be the most aesthetically pleasing aspect of the Tahoe, but the slick slopes of the windshield and door angles make the Chevrolet Tahoe surprisingly aerodynamic. The 2012 Chevy Tahoe is available in three trims - the base LS, upgraded LT and luxury LTZ. The LT and LTZ Tahoes can be decked out with sunroof and power liftgate. Wheels begin at 17 inches on the LS, but can be upgraded up to 22 inch wheels with a Trailering package.
Inside, the 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe is exceptionally roomy, with seating for up to nine people in certain configurations. The seats themselves can be upgraded in a variety of ways, including soft leather seating, heated front and second row seats and cooled front row seats as well. The second row can be equipped with captain's seats or a folding bench, allowing for easy access to the third row. Bust out some tunes with an AM/FM/SiriusXM/CD/MP3 player standard on all vehicles with a minimum of six speakers. Upgrade to the LT, and nine Bose speakers come standard. An entertainment system with rear-seat DVD player is available as a package for LT and above. The steering wheel is leather-wrapped, and even heated on the LTZ trim.
